Cons of GBC

1.     These consoles struggle to handle the games having high graphics.

2.     Online games can’t play in this console.

3.     High sized ROMs can’t install in the console.

Future of Handheld Consoles

In modern days the companies developing portable gaming technologies are becoming decidedly less and less competitive. The consistency of developing portable gaming console is maintained only by Nintendo, a Japanese based company that releases a new handheld gaming console by adapting recent technology. Nintendo’s innovation is the Nintendo 3DS XL. It is one of the competitors in the market, along with Sony, Google, and Apple.

In the future, the manufacturing of Handheld gaming consoles will become less due to the development of Gaming centric Smartphones. These gaming-centric smartphones offer a lot more services other than gaming. The fall of the market for the gaming console is due to the increasing usage of Smartphones. The only way to increase the demand of gaming console is that it needs to provide features equal to that of gaming phones like liquid cooling technology, Rapid charger, Cooler fan, air trigger and more extra. By looking at the current scenario, the future of the handheld gaming console is lying only in the hands of Nintendo.
