The pop-up menu consists of frequently used shortcuts such as frequent contacts and so on.

Some More Differences

Other differences are that iPhone 6s have a better processor over the iPhone 6. That is the iPhone 6s are powered by the Apple A9 chip as opposed to the A8 chip present in iPhone 6. The main camera in iPhone 6s is 12 megapixels which are better than an 8-megapixel camera in iPhone 6. Also, on the front side, the 6s houses a better front camera of 5 megapixels. While iPhone 6 only has a 1.2-megapixel front camera.

Similarities

Although iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s are two different phones in various regards, there are plenty of similarities between them. The similarities begin with the external build. If you take a silver iPhone 6 in one hand and a silver iPhone 6s on the other, you may fail to distinguish them. They are that similar. At one glance, a majority of people may not be able to tell them apart. They have the same aluminum body on the back and side with the antenna strips. They have the same front made of gorilla glass with the home button/fingerprint scanner in the same position.

The front camera is also in the same position as well. In the back, both iPhones have the Apple logo in the same position. And the back camera looks the same with both cameras placed in the same area. The only difference in the back is that the iPhone 6s have ’S’ printed in the bottom of the back area. Other than that, they look pretty much the same.

Ways iPhone 6s is better than iPhone 6

Since iPhone 6s is the upgrade over the iPhone 6, there are various ways in which the ’S’ model excels over the regular model. The previously released iPhone does not have a 3D touch feature but the later one is equipped with it.

iPhone 6s also has a better front as well as the back camera. Since iPhone 6s houses 12 megapixel back and 5-megapixel front camera it is significantly better than iPhone 6. This is because the iPhone 6 only has an 8 megapixel back and 1.2-megapixel front camera. The 6s model also consists of 1 GB more RAM. That means iPhone 6s has 2 GB RAM built-in as opposed to 1 GB in the iPhone 6. The dual-core CPU in the 6s is also clocked at 1.84 gigahertz which is higher than the 6 models, clocked at 1.4 gigahertz. iPhone 6s is also superior in other features as it has a better Bluetooth system i.e. Bluetooth 4.2. Also, the 6s have more choices of color and storage capacity for the consumers.

All things considered, the only area where iPhone 6s loses to iPhone 6 is the battery. iPhone 6 has a bigger battery in both regular and plus models in comparison to the two models of iPhone 6 respectively.

Conclusion

To sum up the iPhone 6 vs iPhone 6s, the differences between iPhone 6 and 6s are not noticeable if you take both the phones in your hand. However, if you use the phone, you may notice some differences between them. The cameras are slightly better in the 6s, RAM is 1 GB more and the CPU is clocked higher than iPhone 6. All these factors contribute to iPhone 6s being a higher-ranked iPhone model than iPhone6. But all things aside, the differences are very minor and the users of the iPhone 6 may not need to upgrade to iPhone 6s.

All in all, both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s are built on a similar body. Nevertheless, the internals is of somewhat higher capability in the 6s model. Therefore, iPhone 6s is marginally a better iPhone than iPhone 6.
