To connect using this cable all you have to do is plug the Type C in your android device and the standard HDMI side to your Tv. Now your android is connected to your tv. You can enjoy your movies, games, etc on your big screen.

Using USB-HDMI converter

The USB-HDMI converter will help you to play content on your tv using USB port if your android device does not support HDMI. This is a type of dongle. You will need two things to make the connection first is the USB-HDMI converter and second is the standard HDMI cable. Using these two things you can cast your android to HDMI. However, it will only work if your device manufacturer has enabled the USB data transfer over HDMI. You have to check it online using your device build number. You can also wirelessly connect your phone to your tv. There are many apps and devices available in the market which make this thing possible. This method will need a high-speed WIFI connection. If you don’t have high-speed wifi your data will lag.

The wireless method is completely easy no wires no dongles. No putting your device stable in one place. There are few devices and apps available in the market. Let’s talk about them.

Chromecast

Chromecast is a device by google which help to cast your phone screen to the big screen. You can purchase it online for approx $35-$40. Just connect your chrome cast to your tv HDMI port and then connect the Chromecast to your WIFI network on wich your android device is. Now open anything you want to cast on your android device and click the cast button, your content will be viewed on your big screen.

Miracast

Miracast offers both the app and Miracast dongle itself. The price of the Miracast dongle is $20. If your smart tv supports Miracast then all you have to do it just download the Miracast app on your android to cast. Miracast is also available in some variants of the fire stick dongle. You need to connect your android device and the Miracast to your WIFI network and you are all done to cast.
